My dad and I were bringing furniture in his truck to move it into my sister's college house and a drawer flew off the truck and broke into pieces and a knob disappeared.

Applying water for Gorilla Glue
Applying Gorilla Glue
I used 1 5/8" mahogany
Partially round
Fully round
I sawed it off pretty close
The rest was sanded off with a belt sander
I was very surprised and pleased with how identical I got the two knobs
Both were drilled and tapped for a 1/4-20 bolt
I repurposed my file holder to hold the knobs for painting
Three coats of satin black spray paint
Template drawn with a pencil
I traced the paper patterns with a pencil.
My first attempt at painting the outline was not very good so I wiped some of the white paint off and sprayed another coat of black.
My second attempt was better.
Once the glue dried I carved away the foam with a razor knife.
